I have a wicked headache, so just a couple of quick thoughts before bed…
Today’s been a really wonderful! Hope is alive once again in the world. I’ve been emotional all day. I thought the Inauguration was awesome. Despite all the Rick Warren hate, I loved his invocation and really enjoyed his words. How awesome was Aretha Franklin! And yes, Ree Ree worked that hat. Obama’s speech was inspirational and brilliant.
It’s a whole new beginning.

I usually avoid political theatricals, but I just had to watch – that was FanTastic!! I was jazzed all day…kept checking on BBC and other international sites to see what the reaction was. So amazing; really felt like it will be one of those “where were you when” moments in history. Loved the benediction at the end…an ethnic rainbow of hope – Amen!!
